Counselors In Leadership Training
Clark Creek Lodge

 

The Counselors In Leadership program ("CILT") is a two week training camp for students entering 11th or 12th grade in Fall, 2027. The program takes place on the magnificiant Clark Creek Lodge property by Burney Falls in Northern California. CILT students enjoy all the activities and facilities available at the lodge.

CILT focuses on learning to lead and participate in team activities, developing social skills, learning to prioritize, organize, and exercise self-discipline to pursue goals to completion. Participants engage in activities that prepare them for success as they transition into adulthood. This is accomplished within a structure that provides opportunities to mentor younger youths, help with summer camp management, refine their ability to recognize and overcome personal challenges and build a positive attitude towards life and self-worth.

This innovative CILT program is modelled on the groundbreaking behavioral insights of renowned educator Dr. Edward Frierson as offered in his classic series the "ABCs of Parenting"    See them here

Graduates of the Clark Creek CILT program receive a merit diploma that acknowledges success in accomplishing the goals of the program. This valuable recognition is useful on resumés in pursuing future jobs and/or college admission.
